The Phoenix House is committed to aiding individuals with becoming sober and productive members of society. The Phoenix House presents a full and busy schedule of peer meetings, 12 step groups, individual counseling, basic life skills, job readiness skills, case management and provides additional tools for long-term recovery. If a busy and robust schedule is not the path to recovery you are seeking, then the Phoenix House program may not be the appropriate pathway. We give you our best effort and in return ask you for your best effort.

Do you Really
want to be
here?

Are you willing to help yourself?

Understand why you face destructive lifestyle or choices?

Self-help and mutual help are a fundamental part of The Phoenix House approach.

Self-help means that the person takes responsibility for his or her recovery. Mutual help refers to people with a common problem helping each other.

Trusting others, self-esteem, tolerance for discomfort or frustration, coping with feelings and controlling their impulses, dealing with authority, interpersonal and communication skills, and productivity.

Trust is built both ways through life skills, conflict resolution, honesty, communication, LISTENING, and a way forward in life.

“The biggest obstacle to change is fear. Fear of the unknown.”
