About Us

Phoenix House of Tuscaloosa is a state-certified Transitional Residential Treatment facility committed to helping men and women across Alabama overcome addiction and rebuild their lives.

Our program is made possible through the generous support of The United Way of West Alabama, numerous community partners, and private donors who believe in our mission of recovery and transformation.

We currently provide residential care for up to 28 men and 12 women, offering a structured and supportive environment where healing can begin. Our treatment program includes:

A one-time admission fee of $300
A weekly housing fee of $150, which begins only after employment is secured

No one is denied admission due to inability to pay upfront. We are committed to removing financial barriers for those seeking recovery.

Getting Started

To begin the intake process, please submit your State of Alabama Drug and Alcohol Assessment for review by our Intake Staff.

If you live in the Tuscaloosa area and have not yet completed an assessment, we offer free appointments with a qualified therapist. Simply call us at 205-758-3867 to schedule your evaluation.
