The Northport Gazette – Sobriety Honored

The Northport Gazette – One Tuscaloosa man is on a mission to cover his motorcycle with the names of those who have gotten sober.
After undergoing rehabilitation at the Phoenix House of Tuscaloosa last year, Asa Norris, now sober, wanted to do more for those who had helped him recover. With his girlfriend Mandy Johnston’s old motorcycle, he began writing the names and sobriety dates on the bike as a tribute to their success.
“I just wanted to help give back to the people who have helped me and people that I didn’t know – I wanted to give them another reason to stay sober,” Norris said.
